Paul Heller is an award-winning playwright based in the San Francisco Bay Area.  His plays are  a clear eyed examination of social justice issues like race, political division, and the economic impact of jail paired with highly engaging characters and an ear for unforgettable dialogue.   He is known, too, for his collaborations with theater artists from India, Mexico, Japan, China, and Vietnam.
